> Home Welcome to the Sierra Club Idaho ChapterYou're here because, like 1.4 million of your friends and neighbors, you want:
Since 1892, the Sierra Club has been working to protect communities, wild places, and the planet itself. We are the largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. And our founder, John Muir, appears on the back of the California quarter. The Sierra Club organizes into groups focused on the environmental concerns within our local communities. The Idaho Chapter encompasses... all of Idaho! More information about our regional groups can be found under the tab to the left titled "groups". Our members here in Idaho are a diverse group but share some commonalities, mainly the love of Idaho's outdoors! They work to make Idaho a better place for future generations to enjoy. You can help by learning about the issues we care about and taking action on them by becoming a volunteer or member.
